Dr. Gallivan's areas of expertise includes: Total Joint Reconstructive Surgery, Hip Resurfacing, Computer Assisted Surgery (CAS) "Navigation," Joint Replacements, Total Knee and Total Hip Replacements, Arthroscopic Surgery, Sports Medicine, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Total Knee Replacement, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Total Hip Replacement, Partial Knee Replacement (PKR) Unicompartmental Knee Replacement, Ligament Reconstruction, Major and Minor Fracture Care.

Dr. Gallivan is Board-Certified. He strictly adheres to the principles of focused patient care, well-being, and comfort. From the first to final visit, Dr. Gallivan strives to see your experience is positive and succesfull.

Happily married, Dr. Gallivan considers family a high priority. He and his wife, Karen, have five children and have lived and practiced in Santa Barbara since 1992.
